While you are waiting for your provisional license to return, start reading the Highway Code. It has changed recently so it’s worth getting the latest one.
The theory test is not as bad as it sounds but it’s definitely worth practicing for. SCF Driver Training can provide a CD and a DVD to practise the hazard perception and theory test.
When your provisional license is returned from DVLA you can book the theory and hazard perception tests. Again SCF Driver Training can book these for you (£50 at cost) and again beware some training companies will charge you for this service.
Both these test must be passed before the practical driving test can be attempted.
